Sidney by the Sea Rotarians were thrilled to learn that Maria Kirley was presented with her Canadian citizenship on Wednesday, January 30th. At our January 31st meeting, we helped her celebrate. Maria was presented with a Judy Smith original "Canadian tie" and flowers, as well as a congratulatory card signed by all the members. She was joined at the front by another new Canadian, Kenny Podmore, also sporting a J-Smith original sartorial accessory. Together, they two were cajoled into leading the membership in the singing of "O Canada", which they did "with glowing hearts."
